On March 7, 2019, the 31st annual Lambda Literary Awards were announced by Lambda Literary, America’s oldest and largest literary arts organization advancing LGBTQ literature.

The “Lammys,” as they are affectionately known, celebrate achievement in LGBTQ writing. The finalists in 24 categories (including a new one for Bisexual Poetry) were selected by a panel of over 60 literary professionals from more than 1,000 submissions from 300+ publishers. Finalists will be celebrated and winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony and Gala the evening of Monday, June 3, 2019 in New York City.
